DAY 1 STUDY
“THE END”
A. Why Study End Time Prophecies?
“So be on your guard; I have told you everything in advance.
And surely I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Mark 13:23; Matthew 28:20;
NOTE: Fill in the blanks to help cement the facts in your heart and mind.
1. REV 21:5 “He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true." We can know these words are t_________ and t_____.
2. REV 22:6 “The angel said to me, "These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place."
It is given by the L______ for His s_________.
3. REV 1:1-3 “This is the revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants what must soon come to pass. He made it known by sending His angel to His servant John, who testifies to everything he saw. This is the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear and obey what is written in it, because the time is near.” (Berean Study Bible)
This is the word of God. B______ are those who read, hear and obey this revelation.
4. REV 22:7 "Look, I am coming soon! Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy written in this scroll."
What does it mean to keep the words? (Circle all that you think apply)
a) Keep studying them b) Don’t change their meaning c) Obey them
5. REV 22:16 "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches." Jesus says this at the end of the book of Revelation.
a. Who gave this testimony (ALL of Revelation)? J__________.
b. To whom is it given? The c____________.
6. ROM 15:4 “For everything that was written in the past was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures, we might have hope.” DEUT 29:29 “The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever…”
You are honoring God by studying and believing His Scriptures! God’s Word is given to us to instruct and encourage. We are to study it so we are able to tell the truth from error and, through endurance, have h________.
7. LUKE 21:26-28 “Men will faint from fear and anxiety over what is coming upon the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” NAS (Rom 8:18-28)
We study so that we’ll know when our redemption is drawing n________ and not lose hope. People will faint from f____ but we are to be lifting up our heads in confidence, as we see the events that foretell His coming and look for the Lord’s return.
8. I COR 1:7,8 “Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus. God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Christ will be revealed at the e____ and will bring in the d____ of our Lord Jesus. God is faithful and will keep us strong to the end. He is our unwavering hope! (Rom 8:31-39)
9. We study the prophecies because God has given us so many scriptures concerning the End. Listen to Jesus' teaching on this, then look at the OVERVIEW that follows. How many times does Jesus mention “the end”? ___
Matthew 24:3 The disciples asked Jesus:
“What will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?"
“Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars...but the end is still to come....There will be famines and earthquakes. All these are the beginning of birth pains. Then (Great Tribulation) you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. (gospel to all: Rev 14:6) “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation’ (Antichrist)… there will be great distress (Great Tribulation), unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again…but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened… as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. “Immediately after the distress of those days ‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken. “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 24:3-9, 12-15, 21-22 ,27, 29-31; 28:20
Daniel "...go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance." Daniel 12:13
So, what happens in the end??
Jesus appears and Believers are caught up into the clouds,
commonly referred to as the rapture.
“The End” is a significant term that we need to understand.
DAY 2 STUDY
B. What Happens in ‘The End’?
Overview of the Terms, Events and Timing of ‘The End’
Matthew 24:3
1. Terms used for “The End”
Jesus, “What will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?"
Matt 24:3
Daniel "... you will enter into rest, and rise again for your allotted portion
at the end of the age.” Dan 12:13 NASB 1995
These verses tell us that Jesus’ coming
brings in the end of the age.
We also learn that deceased believers will rise at the end of the age- called the rapture.
Let’s see what else the Bible says about The End.
That is, The coming of Jesus and the Rapture of Believers
What other words are used for the timing of the rapture?
The LAST DAY
A. When are Christ followers raised up/raptured according to Jesus in JOHN 6:39-44? Jesus said, “And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”
We are raptured at the l____ d___. So, another term for “the end” is the l_____ d___ , when Jesus raises up all who know Him as Savior and gives them new immortal bodies.
Is this a clue? What is the last day? This may seem complicated, so feel free to skip to the next question! In Daniel 9:25-27, 490 years are foretold, using the term 70 weeks (literally 70 sevens). Jesus was ‘cut off’ by his crucifixion at the end of the 69th ‘week’ (seven) as prophesied, and the city of Jerusalem was eventually destroyed by “the people of the prince who is to come” (ie. the Antichrist, coming in that final 70th week: 7 years). There has been a 2000 year break in the 70 years. That final week is described by Daniel like this: “the prince…will confirm a covenant with many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put an end to sacrifice and offering…” God tells Daniel that “the end will come like a flood.” We believe the 70th ‘week’ will be “the end”, the last 7 years of this age. Interesting that Jesus says believers will be raptured at the “last day” (as that last year of that final 70th week/seven years begins?). Keep studying to see how it all fits.
The LAST TIME
B. I PETER 1:5,7 “...through faith (we) are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time...when Jesus Christ is revealed.” (1 Thes 5:9,23,24; Heb 9:27,28; Rom 8:18-23; John 6:39,40)
1. Jesus will be revealed at his second coming, in the l______ time. Daniel 12:4-7 speaks of 3 ½ years as “times, time and half a time.” (ie “time” = 1 year) This could be another clue. Is our salvation revealed as the last “time” (year) is about to begin?
2. We are shielded by God’s power until the coming of our s____________.
3. What does that mean? If Jesus is our Savior don’t we already have salvation? How does our salvation come when Christ is revealed? At Christ’s coming, our b________ will be saved, made supernatural and new!
HEB 9:28 “...so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.” 1 JOHN 3:2 “...when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.” When we ask Jesus to be our Savior and Lord, our spirits are seated in the heavenlies. However, our minds are being saved, renewed as we trust and obey God’s Word, the Bible. At Christ’s coming our bodies will be saved, made new and supernatural.
THAT DAY
C. 2 TIM 1:12, 4:7-8 “For this reason, even though I suffer as I do, I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him for that day. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.”
We should be convinced that God is able to keep us in difficult times. All of us who have longed for his a________________ will be rewarded on that day. We will be given immortal bodies and gather to worship at the throne of God. For Believers it will be a day (year) of rest in heaven. For those who have rejected God, it will be a year of wrath on the earth. For Israel it will be a year that ends in redemption and restoration in Jerusalem.
THE DAY of THE LORD
D. 1 Cor 1:7,8 “...you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus.” Zephaniah 1:14,15,17 “The great day of the Lord is near—near and coming quickly. The cry on the day of the Lord is bitter; the Mighty Warrior shouts his battle cry. That day will be a day of wrath— “I will bring such distress on all people that they will grope about like those who are blind, because they have sinned against the Lord.” Revelation 6:17 “For the great day of Their wrath has come, and who is able to withstand it?"
How would you describe the Day of the Lord? ___________________________
The day that the Lord returns ushers in the Day of the Lord judgments. After Christ- followers are removed, The Trumpet and Bowl Judgments will be carried out on the Antichrist and all who have rejected the love of God and gone their own way. Finally, when the wrath of God is finished, the earth will be renewed and Christ will reign for a thousand years with the resurrected believers, the saved remnant of Israel and a small number of survivors from the nations, who did not bow to the Antichrist by receiving the Mark of the Beast- 666.
DAY 3 STUDY
2. Events leading to
"Jesus' coming and of the end of the age" Matthew 24:3
In Matthew 24, Jesus clearly lays out events that will happen
before his coming again for His Bride, the Church.
These same events are seen in the first six Seals
(on the scroll in Revelation).
What events must happen before Christ comes for those
who have trusted him for eternal life?
The first 5 Seals of Revelation’s scroll must be broken and the prophesied events take place: Birth Pains consisting of Antichrist, wars, famine and death and then the “hard labor” (Great Tribulation) of martyrdom in the second half. Note that the Seals are NOT the wrath of God because those killed for their faith (seen in the 5th Seal) are asking, “When will you pour out your wrath/judgment, Lord?” REVELATION 6
The wrath comes after the 7th seal is broken and the Scroll is opened, announcing the Trumpet and Bowl judgments.
The Bible tells us that the following events must happen
as the first 5 seal prophecies are unfolding:
In the End, Jesus c______ in the clouds,
with a loud trumpet call and brings his elect (Christ-followers)
up to be with him at the throne of God. (Rev 7:9-17)
But, before that can happen, a number of other events must take place.
A. Before Jesus’ return a number of events must take place. Jesus describes the coming of The End in birthing terms. He told his disciples that there will be birth pains and then hard labor/squeezing. Birth pains are the beginning labor where the mother feels pain but can continue doing some of her normal activities. Hard labor is when the contractions become so strong that the woman must stop everything to get through the intense pain. By the time the baby is ready to be delivered, the contractions are coming one upon another, with no break in between. Jesus is telling us that events will get more and more intense as the time of our delivery draws nearer and nearer. MATT 24:5-8 “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.”
The first 3½ years are B_____ P_____ consisting of false messiahs, wars, famines and death. These line up with the first 4 Seals on the Revelation scroll! (Revelation 6)
B. Jesus says another thing must happen before he can return: “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” Matt 24:13,14 “Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth—to every nation, tribe, language and people. He said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him…” Rev 14:6,7 Before the end can come all nations will hear the g________ proclaimed by the Church in words and actions and by the Revelation angel’s call to repentance and belief (Matt 24:13,14; Rev 5:13, 14:6).
C. Before the end comes, a new temple must be built in Jerusalem and the Antichrist must demand the world’s worship. Jesus said there will be Great Tribulation as the Antichrist breaks his covenant with Israel, proclaims himself to be God in the temple at Jerusalem, and attacks God’s people. (This is the continuation of Seal number 4: Death and then Seal 5: Martyrs in heaven found in Revelation 6). MATT 24:15,16,21,22 “So when you see standing in the holy place (temple) ‘the abomination that causes desolation’ (Antichrist), spoken of through the prophet Daniel - let the reader understand - then let those in Judea (Israel) flee to the mountains… For then there will be great distress (Great Tribulation), unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again. If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect (Christ-followers) those days will be shortened.” 2 THES 2:3-4 “Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day (Day of the Lord judgments) will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed (Antichirst), the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.” DAN 9:27 “He (Antichrist) will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle (3½ years) of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.”
Before the end can come the t___________ in Jerusalem must be rebuilt. The religious Jews have already made the Temple furnishings needed to restart the sacrifices. Will part of the Antichrist’s appeal be that he makes it possible for the Temple to be rebuilt in Jerusalem? The temple will be built and then the Antichrist will enter it, declare himself to be God and demand allegiance!
D. Before the end, the Restrainer must be taken out of the way so the Antichrist can reveal himself. 2 Thessalonians 2:7 “For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way.” See the EXTRA studies in section 7 to unpack this verse.
E. Before the end, a portion of Israel must flee into the wilderness and we who claim Jesus as Savior and Lord will be persecuted. The final 3 ½ years are called the G_____ T_________ (literally: distress, ‘hard labor, squeezing”) triggered by the Antichrist breaking his covenant with Israel and proclaiming himself to be G____ in the temple at Jerusalem.
At this midway point of the final 7 years, a portion of Israel flees and is protected by God. REV 12:14,17 “The woman (Israel) was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time (3 ½ years), out of the serpent’s reach. Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her *offspring—those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus (Christians).” * GAL 3:29 “If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed (Israel’s offspring), and heirs according to the promise.”
At this time, many of those who keep God’s commands and refuse to deny their faith in Jesus will be martyred at the hand of the Dragon-controlled Antichrist. MARK 13:13 “Everyone will hate you because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.” We are not to fear or be dismayed. The Great Tribulation is cut short by our gathering/rapture at J_______ coming. (Mark 13:19-29)
F. Before the End, 2 Witnesses from God (most-likely Moses and Elijah, representing the Law and the Prophets) will come to Jerusalem for the last 3.5 years. Revelation 11: 6-7 “They have power to shut up the heavens so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want. Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them.” 11 But after the three and a half days, the breath of life from God entered them… they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on.”
Will Christians be alone in their witness to the world? ___________
G. Before the End, Christians must persevere, letting Christ’s light shine out. Just as labor pains cause a woman to focus on her baby’s coming, so too, the “labor pains” introduced by the lifting of the Revelation’s 6 Seals, bring the church to focus on Christ’s coming and our delivery from this earth. Jesus said we would suffer in this world because of hatred (John 15:18) and the earth groaning under the curse (Romans 8:19-23) and because we are strangers in this world, the kingdom of Satan (1 Peter 4:3-5). Jesus has conquered Satan and the world but we must believe his Word and rely on him if we are to know that victory on a daily basis. Philippians 2:13-16 “For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold out the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain. “
Underline all the verbs/action words in the verses above.
Do you grumble and argue or do you shine by holding out God’s truth and love? _____________ We can persevere when we know God loves us and has a plan. We must hold firmly to God’s word, the Bible and the Word of LIfe, Jesus Christ.
1 COR 15:24 “Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power.”
The End seems to be the whole last year of the final “week” (literally the word “seven”), starting with the rapture of the church and ending when Jesus destroys the Antichrist and Beast kingdom. He hands the kingdom over to God the Father, the Ancient of Days, and the Father then appoints him to rule forever in the age to come. (Luke 1:31-33; Daniel 2:44; 7:11-14; Revelation 19:19-21; Hebrews 1:10-12; 12:25-29).
DAY 4 STUDY
The END Time Outline given to us by Jesus:
Matthew 24 and Revelation 6
The 7 Seals on Revelation's Scroll and Jesus’ words to his followers, match up perfectly!
But First…
A quick word about the scroll and the 7 seals that keep it closed. Scrolls were the books and important documents of Jesus’ day. Seals of clay were adhered to the outside edge or binding cords and signified the persons and/or conditions that were to be present for the document to be legally opened. We believe the scroll contains the Trumpet Judgments.
All 7 Seals must be broken (fulfilled) before The Scroll is opened
and God’s wrath pours out on all that is evil.
So, what is this scroll and where is it? In chapter 5 of Revelation, we're shown what will happen in the End time. In the throne room of heaven Jesus will one day receive The Scroll of judgment from his Father. He alone is worthy to open it because he crushed the serpent’s (Satan's) head (Gen 3:14,15; Col 2:15). He sacrificed his life on the cross to pay our debt of sin. By rising from the grave, he displayed his power over death and Satan. He ransomed people from every tribe and language, bringing us out of the kingdom of darkness and into His kingdom of light. (Rev 5:7-14) Col 1:13,14 “For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” One day, when Jesus takes the scroll from His Father, praise will start at the throne and pour out on all creation to awaken hearts around the world. This SHOUT of Spirit-led worship will be a call to salvation for all people. Each person must choose whom they trust : Jesus or Satan.
“Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth
and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying:
"To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!" Rev 5:13.
We believe this shout will start the final 7 years!
Will the whole world be saved when they praise God the Father and Jesus, the Lamb? _____ The answer is NO, each person must turn from their own way of living (sin) and believe in Jesus as their Savior to be called God’s child and inherit eternal life.
The Backstory...
You see, Christ came the first time to take back the authority that Adam and Eve gave over to Satan when they obeyed him, rather than God. Adam and Eve exchanged their birthright of life for the curse of death! (Genesis 3:1) Romans 6:16 "Do you not know that when you offer yourselves as obedient slaves, you are slaves to the one you obey, whether you are slaves to sin leading to death, or to obedience leading to righteousness?" Jesus, the Son of God, took that curse on himself and died in our place. He rose again from the grave with the keys of death in his hand and invites us into eternal life through him. (Rev 1:17-18) Jesus "suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil— and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.” Romans 5:17 “For if, by the trespass of the one man (Adam), death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!” Hebrews 2:8,9,14,15.
Have you received his gift of life? ________ John 8:31.32,36 Jesus says to those who believe Him: “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."
So now…
When we believe Jesus, confessing our sins and receiving his forgiveness, we are made new and given authority to fight evil with love and power. Ask Jesus to teach you how to use His authority. “These, then, are the things you should teach. Encourage and rebuke with all authority.” Titus 2:15 In the following verses, we see that the real battle is in the unseen realm. Faith helps us to see the fiery darts of Satan: his lies that feed our pride and our doubts or fears. These lies turn into strongholds that we have authority to tear down in our own lives and in the lives around us.
You can pray:
“I stand in the authority of Jesus Christ my Lord and I command
every lie to come down in Jesus’ name. I pull down the strongholds of
pride and doubts and command humility and truth to flood in.
I take every thought captive so that ____’s mind will be transformed,
and think Christ’s thoughts. I thank you Lord for the victory. Amen.”
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but...against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." Ephesians 6:10ff "...in truthful speech and in the power of God...we destroy strongholds. We destroy false arguments; we pull down every proud obstacle that is raised against the knowledge of God; we take every thought captive and make it obey Christ." 2 Cor. 2:6; 10:4-5 (GNT) "For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword..." Hebrews 4:12
We take our stand against the devil's schemes by having our shield of f_______, helmet of s____________ and the sword of the S________ which is the w_______ of God (the Bible). We destroy Satan's strongholds through t_________ speech and the p_______ of God. We destroy f_______ arguments and take every t______ captive, thinking Christ's thoughts, not Satan's!
We are made alive with Christ and now have His authority and power to resist Satan, “the god of this world”, and help bring people out of his kingdom of darkness into Christ’s kingdom of l_______ (Acts 26:18; Eph 6:10-18). Satan fights this and tries to intimidate believers, but “greater is He that is within us than he that is in the world.” Peter 5:8-9 "Be alert, be on watch! Your enemy, the Devil, roams around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Be firm in your faith and resist him, because you know that other believers in all the world are going through the same kind of sufferings." We are to be a_______ and r________ Satan. 1 John 4:4,5 “I write to you…because you are strong, and the word of God lives in you, and you have overcome the evil one. Do not love the world or anything in the world.” We are strong and overcome Satan when we know God’s truth and reject the world’s lies.
DAY 5 STUDY
How do we resist Satan?
We resist him by not accepting every thought that comes our way.
If a thought doesn’t line up with God’s truth, reject it and immediately speak the truth, praising God in song or a Bible verse. This is true for thoughts concerning yourself and others. Speak blessing and hope. Reject grumbling, cursing and lies as these give Satan a foothold to create havoc in your life and others. Ephesians 4:25 “Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor.. 26 Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27 and do not give the devil a foothold.”
Refuse to entertain the spirit of offense!
Galatians 2:20 says, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
Dead people do not get irritated or offended!
When Satan tempts you with these emotions, just declare,
“I refuse to be offended. I am dead and Christ lives in me!”
Do life God’s way and Satan will flee.
James 4:6,7
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Romans 12:2
(know and claim God’s truth) “We demolish arguments and every proud claim that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10:5
Also: Ephesians 4:22-32; 1 Peter 1:13-15
And then, one day…
All creation will SHOUT praise to Jesus and the final 7 years will begin. We believe the Satan-filled Antichrist will claim that praise for himself and deceive people into thinking he is their savior (Seal 1). He will promise peace, do miracles and be the world leader people think they are looking for. We will then experience the next 4 Seals (events) on the Revelation Scroll. We are not whisked away, but are left here to be lights shining in a dark world, leading people to God. Before God's wrath falls, Jesus will take those who love him out of this world at His second coming (Seal 6) and immediately usher in the Day of God’s Judgments (Seal 7: Silence before judgment, as the Scroll is opened). After we leave, God pours out his wrath on all evil (Isaiah 34:1-10) and the remnant of Israel will repent and be saved. (Heb 8:10,11,12).
We will reign with Jesus on a renewed earth for 1000 years and for eternity in a new heaven and earth with no more death, sickness or pain! 2 Peter 3:13 "But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells." (Rev 16:10-11; 20:1-10)
Study on, so you will know the truth
The Bible warns us: "...the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires,
and will turn away their ears from the truth."
2 Timothy 4:3-4
The popular teaching today about the Rapture and Coming of Jesus is that it is secret and silent without any signs needed before it occurs. They say the church will not experience any of the things in Revelation. How could this teaching be dangerous? Isn’t a soldier better prepared to withstand the enemy and win the battle if he knows he will be in the war? _____ If he is told he will not actually experience the battle then he will not see the need to prepare and will easily be disillusioned when things get more difficult then any time in history: “For at that time there will be great tribulation, unseen from the beginning of the world until now, and never to be see again.” Matthew 24:21
